This is a reminder that only one week remains to register to vote, or nominate candidates, in the Scheme steering committee election.

Completely new registrations and nominations close on 15 February AoE (= 16 February 12:00 UTC).

Please try to submit nominations in particular as soon as possible, so that potential candidates have time to write their statements. I would like to have all statements available at the close of registration, but if any nominations are made now, I think it would be okay if statements came in a little after the deadline. Any self-nominations should include a candidate statement already.

A number of people have written to ask if their registration has been received and accepted. The answer is almost certainly yes, but there is a little backlog of registrations which I hope to get around to checking this week. Don’t worry: if you submitted a registration before the deadline, you will be able to vote.
