I would like to announce a new election to the Scheme Steering Committee, the main body guiding future and ongoing development of the Scheme language.

Information about the election can be found at <https://r7rs.org/sc/>. Voter registration and candidate nomination is now open and will close at the end of 15 January 2026 AoE. Voting will take place 1 February to 15 February 2026, and a result will come shortly thereafter.

Please register and nominate and make your voice heard for the future of Scheme!
