More accurately, separate procedures.  There is no requirement that the
port types be disjoint or non-disjoint.

Reading the draft over and sending us your notes is very important
to the success of this effort.  "With enough eyeballs, all bugs are
shallow" applies as much or more to specifications as to code.  Detailed
close reading is of course best, but every error caught now is one less
to plague implementors and users later, so even small contributions are valued.
