You know, I'm starting to see it both ways!  Inspired by Alaric's
spelling, "u8vectors", I do indeed see srfi-4 vectors as having that
more rigid structure (even though Guile implements them all with
bytevectors).  While with bytevectors from R6RS, I've always seen them
as blobs, as you see your blob API!

Clearly the only way out of this loopy conundrum is to call them
"bightvectors".
